Jazz up a Bedroom Wall for under $35!

After recovering from the holiday rush, I finally got around to finishing the paint job in my daughters room.  We used her new bedding set as an idea on what to put on her walls.  We came up with these NEAT Flower Spike Wall Stickers to coordinate with the Polka Dots and add some pizzazz to the design!
We decorated the wall behind her bed and one other small wall that jutted out in her room.  Here is the what we used to accomplish that:
2 sets of 2" Variety Dots  (1 each in Hot Pink and White) - $10.40
2 sets of 3" Variety Dots  (1 each in Hot Pink and White) - $10.40
1 set of Flower Spike Stickers in Plum - 12 pc set - $11.25
Total: $32.05
The bedsheets don't show in the photo but they are an almost exact match to the wall decor!  The Flower Spikes are just the thing to JaZz up the Polka Dot Stickers!

Tip: If Your Vinyl Lettering Starts To Lift or Peel

Here is a GREAT tip from a favorite company, My Vinyl Designer, which we had to share with you.

If letters are starting to lift, it is mostly likely due to the wall surface or paint sheen. There aren't any glues she could use, but the most helpful thing she could try would be to heat up the letters a little and press them into the wall. A heat gun is best, but a hair dryer will work. If you heat the letters up slightly, it activates the adhesive on the back. Then, immediately press them into the wall with your thumb. Then when the vinyl cools, it will stick better to the wall. This will work well for most surfaces except matte finish walls...which vinyl doesn't stick well to. She does need to be careful that she doesn't heat the letter too much...or it will shrivel up and be useless.
