Zebra Wall Stickers and Polka Dots

A customer shared this neat idea.  They purchased the 17 zebra dots (Zebra Dots - 17 piece) in Black vinyl from our Children's Wall Decor page along with the 6" Variety Dots in Hot pink found on our Polka Dot page.  They were combined to decorate closet space.  VERY neat idea!  What a way to jazz up some boring empty bedroom space!

Vinyl Sayings and Quotes on Boards

Here's another way to use Wall Vinyl Sayings and Quotes - apply the saying or quote to a painted board.

We are gearing up for our fall craft shows and having fun with some neat ideas.  So here are a few boards we have ready to go.

First, we have been using Aspen wood purchased at Menards.  We buy it as a larger piece and cut it down.  Aspen seems to be quite sturdy but lightweight.   Hobby Lobby also has routered unfinished wood that works excellent for this purpose.

For the Laugh/Love board shown here, we made a stencil using our Floral Wall Art.  Then we used
etching cream to paint the floral design on the painted board.  A light paint color would work fine for this also but the etching cream was an experiment =) and gave it a unique texture.

The next neat board we made - a Sister saying with a Zebra Stripe background.  For this one, we painted the board a lime green.  The stripes are our Warm Grey Zebra Stripes sized to fit the board.  Finally we added the Hot Pink Sister saying on top.  For hanging purposes, we added the wire.

Another favorite is the Laundry Room board.  Beige vinyl saying applied to a Brown board with a few embellishments added to the corners.

Flower Wall Stickers with Stems

One of our latest pages - Tree and Floral Wall Art - features these unique Flower Decals.

There are a variety of flower tops to choose from.  Stems can be added on the order, if you choose also.

You choose the color of the flower and also the color of the flower stems.

You get to use your own flair in putting them together - tall and straight or short and sweet or however you desire.

These are a breeze to apply, especially to any smooth surface.

It's always best to let paint cure 2 weeks before applying vinyl decals.

Car and/or Pickup Fishing Decal

Since vinyl can be used indoor and out, we have been messing around with vehicle decals along with our Wall Stickers.

My brothers give me a whole other aspect of pickup decals that I could never think of on my own.  Most of it involves hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling =).

I made this decal for my brother's pickup.  If you look closely, you can see the children car seats in the back seat.  So yes, he has other priorities besides pickup decals!  But now his wife can say, "You already have a decal."

My youngest brother is unmarried at the moment and therefore has his vehicles quite decorated up.  We exchange mower tune-ups for new decals - what a bargain!  Check out how SHARP this looks just by adding the windshield sticker!  His pickup met with a deer a little harshly so when the pickup is fixed up, we can start redoing all those decals!
On the To-Do List:
1.  Add logos to our own vehicle, now that I have a Beige vinyl to work with.
2.  Add a New Page to the website for you to purchase your own Vehicle Decals.

New Outdoor Colors Available

Wall Decor Plus More has a few more choices for outdoor vinyl available.  Outdoor vinyl is used as vehicle decals or anything that needs to withstand outdoor elements for an extended time.  The new outdoor vinyl colors are:

Hot Pink
Lime Green
and Beige

The color samples can be viewed on our Colors and Fonts page - the new colors (hot pink, lime, and beige) are the same as the indoor vinyl samples.  The only difference - outdoor vinyl is glossy for a better view whereas indoor vinyl has a matte finish so it looks like paint.

What I had in mind for the new colors:  Hot pink and Lime would make a neat addition to a teen's car.  Say, initials in the back window, dots around the edges of a car window or even personalized with a name and flowers for a "girly" look.  The Beige will work excellent for brown mailbox lettering.  What do you think?  Post any and all comments here or on our Facebook page.
