Wall Words - picking a font!

I was recently working with a customer who wanted something to go above her doorway.  She picked out the saying: Eat smart  Play hard  Live well.  She also gave me measurements - 56" long and quite tall.  This is how I like custom orders - you provide the saying and size of space to fill.  The next step is to pick a font!  Most people don't have a clue what font they like.  So I like to show a few different variations to begin with.  After that we begin the process of narrowing it down.  Here are the 1st options I gave her: (remember, screenshots are quick designs that may need resizing yet)

If you order from Wall Decor Plus More, larger sayings may need to be cut and pieced together.  So, in a lot of cases, a screenshot may not be the exact way it will go on the wall but yet you are able to get an idea of how it will come.  At Wall Decor Plus More, we believe in saving our customers money!  By allowing the customer to cut and piece their wall art/saying themselves, less vinyl is used more efficiently.  We pass those SAVINGS on to you!  A 12" x 24" piece only cost $12 - comparable to $15-$25 anywhere else.
So, on to our customer:  Her response to these first 2 variations - "too country, contemporary - I am have more of a cottage."   I started looking at flowery fonts that remind you intricate rose buds.  Her next variation:

But, she has a mirror close to this area that has lots of intricate detail already.
Next choice:

PERFECT!  Same fancier font but without the intricate design but adding a little detail in between the words.

So, when you begin thinking about different sayings, first pick a few different sayings you like.  Next MEASURE the area you want to fill.  If you have something specific in mind, be sure to describe as well as you can OR include photos - photos ALWAYS help.

Different Types of Vinyl ~ What is best for you?

Vinyl has been around for a number of years!  In the last few years, it has become popular as home decor.  Other popular uses for vinyl are sign making, vehicle graphics and lettering.  If you are using your vinyl as home decor, you NEED to make sure you are using or ordering the correct type of vinyl.
First, make sure your vinyl is classified as INDOOR vinyl.  Since alot of vinyl merchants combine services, they feel it unnecessary to carry vinyl for OUTDOOR and INDOOR use.  But, an outdoor vinyl generally has different adhesive.  It could ruin your wallpaper or paint when you want to remove it.  And if you can get the outdoor vinyl removed, it would most likely leave a sticky residue so that it would be quite visible where you had the vinyl adhered in the first place.
Optimally, you would also like MATTE FINISH indoor vinyl.  Almost all outdoor vinyls are glossy or metallic.  Indoor vinyl that has a matte finish will give you a more "painted on" look.  This will make your room have a nicer appeal with a high-quality look.
A reputable vinyl supplier will provide this info to guarantee that you receive a high-quality product!
If you like to be on the safe side when you remove your vinyl, use a hair blow dryer.  This will release the adhesive and allow you to easily peel the vinyl off.  A high-quality indoor vinyl can easily be removed without the hair blow dryer - just peel it off.  Finger nails are a plus with this OR have a very thin plastic scraper to get underneath the vinyl.  Remember not to use anything that will harm your paint or wallpaper.
