Family Wall Sticker Quote ~ custom-designed decal

"the family that prays together stays together"  This was the wall sticker quote that was requested by a local woman recently.  She had her family together for a photo shoot and was making a wall arrangement with all the new photos.

When we receive custom order requests, we generally make up 2-3 options for the customer to view and pick from.  For this lady, she picked out the above font and layout right away.  A couple weeks later, we were working on another wall sticker quote (pictured below) for her.  We showed her 3 different fonts/layouts and one was using the same font as the "family prays.." sticker.  I got a kick out her - she was drawn immediately to the same font even though she didn't realize it was the same one we had used in the last wall sticker quote.  I love it when a customer knows what they like!

All in all, she had some neat quote ideas and the final result was AMAZING!

Custom-made Monkey Wall Stickers for Bathroom

Monkey Decor is so much fun, especially in a bathroom!  We had the privilege of custom-designing a bunch of wall stickers for a local lady who had just completed a home remodel/addition. 

One of the spots was the girls' bathroom.  She already had the monkey shower curtain so we took pictures of the monkeys on the curtain and designed a set of monkeys to coordinate.  It was a lot of fun and turned out SO cute!  There is a monkey hanging off a branch on each side of the mirror.  The girls liked the quote "Relax, Soak, Enjoy" so we applied that quote along the top above the branch.  To fill in the rest of the wall space, we made a smaller version (largest one at 6") of our Wall Circle Stickers.  We used our Chocolate Brown, Beige, and Celadon (sage) Green colors for the wall circles.

Tree Wall Sticker ~ Entertain your baby with Wall Stickers

Did you ever wonder why we have had a "Tree & Floral" page and no trees? Well, we have finally gotten a TREE wall sticker added! Yeah, for finally getting somewhere on that To-Do list!

This tree is a fun 2-Color sticker so you may pick a color for the trunk and another color for the leaves. The tree can be purchased in a 38.5" height or a 48" height.

Repurposed Drawer Bottoms - Mom/Grandma Sticker Quote

I had to share this last-minute item I made for the craft show tomorrow! 

Recently we bought new dressers for some of the children's rooms.  The old dressers were not a real high quality and you know how things last with children... not so well always!  Or is just my children?  Anyway, since I am so "Dutch" and don't like to throw away what I might use someday - I kept some of the drawers.  One of the drawer bottoms had come all the way out which gave me the idea to apply a Wall Sticker Quote to it!  I had my hubby rip all the rest of the drawer bottoms out.

Since it's Mother's Day soon and I am trying to "clean up", I made use of the drawer bottoms sitting around.  The one pictured above is my favorite and may end up at Mom's house if it doesn't sell (don't tell her!).

The drawer bottoms were stapled together in places.  Since this drawer bottom showed, on the front, the ripped out markings, I added a distressed look to it.  I used a hammer to add more nicks; then I sanded all the edges down.  Don't you love it?!  Ok, maybe it's just me....  I usually screw 3-4 things up before I get one effect that I like!

Mother's Day gifts ~ "Say it with Love"

Mother's Day is fast approaching.  I believe this may be the first year I have thought about Mother's Day gifts over a week in advance instead of the day before!  Maybe because we are preparing for a craft show this week..?  Yeah, that's why; so I can't pat myself on the back after all. =)

So our craft show is this week Saturday, May 5th in Parkston, SD at the Pony Creek Steakhouse from 9AM til Noon.  The photo above shows a couple of the items we will have on display and for sale that day.
