Back to School.. 5 Classroom Decoration Tips

ART11-R
Hi all! It's getting to be that time again - back to school. Summer sure goes by too quickly doesn't it?? Well, we here at Wall Decor Plus More, would like to help out the teachers who are thinking about redecorating their classrooms and looking for ways to motivate their students.

1. Wall decals are always a great way to go. Not only do they look like paint but they'll stay on for the whole school year!  An extra bonus, Wall Decals from Wall Decor Plus More will not harm the surface - you can pull them off at the end of the year without any harm to the paint.

2. Try one of these 36 ideas for decorations, like making a pom-pom tree for a woodland-theme reading area! You can use this Tree Wall Decal as your base.
Check out how to make this tree here!
3. Go with a theme! It might be a little more work to make everything coordinate, but in the long run your students will appreciate it! Make it Hollywood glamorous, Wild in the Jungle,
or decorate simply with 2 colors throughout the room!

4. Now, I'm not a teacher, but I thought these tips for better classroom organization were quite helpful, and also pretty inexpensive!

5. Last, but not least, create a place that your students will love coming back to every day. Use humor, use hands-on activities or even throw a party to connect with your pupils!
Wall Decor Plus More has many patterned Wall Decals for the younger student rooms - who doesn't LOVE polka dots?

How To Use A Plastic Business Card As A Squeegee

Need some tips on how to make your decal stick to the wall? Use the following method to help your decal stay on the wall!

1. Take a tape measure or level and make sure your decal is straight on the wall.

2. Using the hinge method - Take the backing off a small section of the decal; place the sticky part (transfer tape) on the wall; make sure it sticks; peel the rest of the backing off; smooth onto the wall.

3. Grab the plastic business card that came in the package with your decal.

4. Gently, but with a constant pressure, rub the card all over the decal. This will ensure that the lettering will stick to the wall and not come off with the transfer tape.

Be sure to rub the entire decal! Missing one spot, even a small one, can cause the decal to rip as you take the transfer tape off!

Have a fabulous day!

How To Throw An Impromtu 4th of July BBQ

Are you having a 4th of July party? Did you start planning weeks ago? If so, good for you! That is certainly the best course of action in order to have the best barbeque on the block! But, if you're like me, you really just started planning a party yesterday. I have some tips on how to throw a fabulous last minute barbeque that will have people thinking you spent weeks doing all the planning!

Great ideas for grilling/setting up a buffet menu - go for simple ideas with great quality! There is an abundance of fresh produce right now! Take advantage of it! Hit up a farmer's market, or just go to the produce section at the grocery store.

Or, have it be a potluck where each of your guests should be a dish to pass, whether it is for the grill, a side dish, dessert or beer and cocktails!

You don't have to go for all the expensive table accessories! Find patriotic themed items at your local grocery store, or a retail chain like Walmart or Target! Follow this guide to set up a table for cheap!

Make dessert yourself! Grab fresh fruit like blueberries and strawberries, and whipped cream and come up with something fabulous! Or follow this awesome trifle recipe!

Happy 4th of July, everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day spent with family and friends! Stay safe!
