Scrabble Tile Wall Sticker Designs That Can Be Used in Home Decor

6 inch tiles shown
Do you love games, particularly Scrabble? Have you ever wondered if you could incorporate that love into something in your home? Well, put it to other uses with our scrabble tile wall stickers! They are such a fun addition to a room's decor, and the best part is that you can add them to any room in the house!

You have a choice between the 3 inch wall sticker tiles or 6 inch wall sticker tiles.

They can come in any color on our website and you could spell out anything you please! Put them in the recreation room, in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room or family room!

Laundry Room Wall Sticker

This is our laundry scrabble tile wall sticker. I have posted how many letters you would need so you get an idea of how to do it. When you are doing it yourself make sure to double check that the number is correct!

The letters needed for the laundry picture (below) are as follows: 2 A; 2 D; 1 E; 3 F; 1G; 1 H; 2 I; 3 L; 4 N; 1 O; 1 P; 2 R; 2 S; 2 U; 1 W; 1 Y.
Make your design two colors!

The total size of this particular wall sticker(left) is approximately 40"W x 20"H. It would be perfect in your laundry room!

Be  daring and spell out that favorite word that you always get the most points with!

Add it to your child's room if they love spelling! You can spell out the names of your family as seen in the picture on the top left of the page.

Kitchen Wall Tiles

Use your favorite spices in the kitchen - basil, curry, garlic, rosemary and so on, or design a layout with these kitchen words: pinch, dash, teaspoon, tablespoon, cup. There are so many ways to use these tiles and all of them are great!

Give the tiles a try! Don't forget a little imagination goes a long way!

I would love to do a family themed scrabble tile wall design for my own house, but according to my hubby I have too many stickers already! So design one for yourself, order it, and if you share it on our Facebook page, tag us on Instagram or send us an email, you will get 30% off coupon code during our share promo going on right now!

DIY Photobooths!!

Have you ever taken a look at how much a photo booth could cost you for a wedding or another event?? Even when it's included in the wedding package from your photographer, it is not cheap. It could cost you $400 and up! Why not try it the old fashioned do-it-yourself way? A photo booth could be made for less than $50! You'll need supplies, so make a list before going out on your next big grocery run!
Supplies
  • Camera - Borrow from a family member or friend if need be!
  • Tripod - You don't want your pictures to be blurry! Ask your photographer if they have an extra one.
  • Backdrop - fabric, paper, board, it doesn't matter what it is as long as it's creative and unique!
  • Tape
  • Hammer and nails
  • Remote shutter release
  • Props- for whatever theme you are going for!
  • Poster board
  • Markers
  • Fishing Line
  • PVC Pipe
  • Personalized Decal Stickers
Make your own backdrop with a fabulous print fabric. Get in touch with your creative side! Use balloons as a backdrop to have something out of the ordinary!

You can always make a large picture frame or polaroid, or add glittery chevrons or stripes to a giant poster board! You can hang any of these from a large branch (if outdoors) or make a stand from PVC pipe and hang it from that!

Okay, you get the drift. If you want to go more complicated than this, try designing a digital booth (like the ones you would see in the mall or amusement park!).

Don't forget to tell everyone to take pictures, and just have fun with it!

Refresh Your Laundry Room! A few helpful tips....

WD243
Have you been thinking about putting some new decorations in your laundry room, or have you been wanting to redo the room entirely? Hopefully, I can help you out with a few helpful hints.

Do it yourself! This will be budget friendly and give you the option of choosing all the colors, fabrics and even machines for yourself. You will also be able to go at your own speed and really get to decide how you want everything to look.

LA004
Reorganize, reorganize, reorganize! Put detergents, dryer sheets, and more in baskets, move it to a shelf, or just add some shelves. Any of these things will help your room to feel less crowded. Have a counter top installed for a larger folding area and work space!

Wall stickers from Wall Decor Plus More would be a really cute and totally different way to add spice to your new laundry room! There are so many to choose from, it will be hard to make a decision!

Add some new cabinets! It will instantly change the look and feel of your room, and help you to realize that you actually DO have a stylish room. No cabinets to cover that mess under the sink? Use a fun patterned fabric to make it disappear.

Revamp your laundry room with color! Painting makes a room come alive, and feel fresh at the same time. Stripes or chevrons on the walls will bring fun to the room!

Bring in the new machines! Even if that new washer or dryer takes out the whole budget, it will be worth it because your laundry room will feel like a completely different room!

If your laundry is compact or small, use curtains instead of doors to block off your room. Curtain rings will help it slide easily and looks beautiful in small spaces!

Budgets are not always fun. But backsplashes are! Use your money wisely and find a funky pattern in the clearance section at your local home improvement store!

Don't forget to check out Wall Decor Plus More to find the perfect sticker for your laundry room! We have so many options and one of them could be the perfect fit for you!

Meet the Wall Decor Plus More Family! Part 3

Elsa is our last stay at home mom and she began working with WDPM last summer. She also cuts a certain amount of products and sends them back. But Elsa does it by the month. So she gets one or two enormous bags full of vinyl to cut, and at the end of the month brings them back to us.

Katie started here last summer as well. She is graduated from high school and just moved here from Iowa as well. She is our main cutter. She makes sure all the cutters are functioning properly and she always has something cutting on them.

Shawna started last summer too. She is mainly for extra help. For example, if we received a huge order from a vendor, then we would probably ask Shawna to come in a few afternoons that week to help us out and to get caught up.

Last, but definitely not least, is me (Cassie). I started working here at the end of the year. I just moved here from Michigan. We moved here in November, and now I work for Kristi. She is training me to be her manager. I will have to know everything about WDPM, and I have to say I'm getting there. I have plenty of work cut out for me but it will be worth it!

I'm glad you have been able to meet our WDPM family. We work hard to get you, our customers, your products as fast and efficiently as we can. We hope you continue to stay with us as we expand and grow!

Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for the next post!

Meet the Wall Decor Plus More Family! Part 2

Here is part 2 of our "meeting the WDPM family" like I promised!!

Alyssa is one of our 4 stay at home moms. She just had a baby, and that is her 3rd child. She's currently on maternity leave. She decided she needed a little extra income, just like Kristi did, and asked if she could work for Kristi from her own house. She started in the summer of 2011 also. Alyssa gets a bag of vinyl to weed and transfer tape every week.

Kayla, who started in 2010 and is another mom with 4 kids, helps us out so much by cutting most of our circles for us. This is a large task and takes quite of a bit of time; so everything she does is very appreciated!

Lisa is yet another stay at home mom. She began working here in the winter of 2011. She has a baby due soon, and it will be her 4th child. She does a lot of the same things Alyssa does. She weeds and transfer tapes at home and sends them back to us, and this cycle is repeated every week.

Marrissa was the next one hired after Lisa.  She had just moved here to South Dakota from Iowa, because she had just married Kristi's younger brother in December of 2012. She had a baby a few months ago, and is back from maternity leave. Marrissa helps out with a little bit of everything, but mainly she does a lot of the computer work.

Check out part 3 soon!
Have a fantastic day everyone!!

Meet the Wall Decor Plus More Family! Part 1

Kristi, founder of WDPM
Hello there! Today I am going to introduce you to all our employees of the Wall Decor Plus More (WDPM) family. And it really is a family because we are all related to each other in one way or another. We have a couple nieces, cousins and even sister-in-laws working here.

But first a little background information on the business itself. Kristi started WDPM in October 2009, as a way to bring in extra income. As a mom of 5 kids, and having her husband trucking, she decided to try something from home. She started off with a project for her mom, and began some other small projects. Soon, she came to the conclusion that she could do this from her house and be home for her kids as well as bringing in a little more income. And off she went.

Now WDPM has been in business almost 4 and 1/2 years now!! It has expanded from a small office to the basement, and in a few months will be expanding to a much larger shop. We couldn't be more excited!!
The new shop!!!

However, I digress. We have 11 workers total now. Some have been with us since the beginning and others have only been here a few months. We already have Kristi done, so we only have Danielle, Jo, Alyssa, Kayla, Lisa, Marrissa, Elsa, Katie, Shawna and myself (Cassie) left to talk about :)

About a year after Kristi got started, she asked Danielle to work for her.  Danielle is now in high school, and usually works an afternoon shift. She also comes in most Saturdays.

Jo is the second person that Kristi hired to help her out. She started in the summer of 2011. She is also in high school and does the same shift as Danielle. These two get to pick their days off because of their seniority in the business.

This will be a 3 part blog, so stay tuned for the next part soon!!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Family Tree Wall Sticker

Trees. What does one say about them? Well, the giant old trees are good to have around in the summer. They provide shade for the house it is near, or for someone just sitting under it. In autumn, the colors of the leaves turning are majestic and breathtaking. While I am mentioning trees, it reminds me that there is a popular wall sticker here at Wall Decor Plus More. It is called Family Branches. It has a beautiful quote on it.But why not take that a step further? Why not create an actual family tree? Okay, not with a live tree, but with one of our wall stickers!

There are a couple different designs to choose from. One tree wall sticker has a spot that could easily fit a 16x20 photo frame. Another design, with that same tree, is putting a clock in the middle of  it. The branches come separate from the tree trunk and can be placed equally around the clock or photo. Put in a handmade clock, or that one clock at the store you've been eyeing for awhile now, and just can't justify buying it. This decal will look great as the backdrop for it! Place a 16x20 photo of your wedding day, or that newly updated family picture with everyone on it.

The image on the left is how the wall stickers will come in the package. The image on the right is an example of how you could place them on the wall. Also, this tree wall decal stands about 76 inches tall and 58 inches wide! Be sure to have plenty of space when applying them!

The third tree design is smaller wall sticker, and has more branches. These also come separate from the tree trunk and picture frames can be placed around them.  This is a creative and fun way to display those new family pictures or wedding pictures. It is also a very affordable way to decorate. This particular tree wall sticker only costs $18! Have fun and make it look awesome!

This smaller family tree wall sticker can stand about three feet tall and two feet wide, depending on how you arrange the branches and the trunk!
