The first new item is our Florals pictured above.  We offer them in 2 sizes: 

a 15" x 16" size for $15

or a 9" x 13" size for $11.

These vines can be hidden partially behind other wall decor, like picture frames,  as shown.  Another thing you can easily do with these florals is cut it up into pieces.  Or you can even cut a side of it off and place it in a corner so it looks like it is "growing" out of your wall edge.  LOTS of possibilites...!

New Item - Animal Print Square in Giraffe and Cheetah Patterns

Check out the latest item added to Wall Decor Plus More's Children Wall Decor section!  Animal Print Wall Sticker squares.  They come with 6 squares - 3 in each pattern.  Each square measures 7" x 7" size.  They come  in a alternating pattern for each square.  I think you classify them as giraffe and cheetah prints. 

Let us know if you would like a different size!  When applied in a row, these Animal Print squares make a great room border!

A Tip for removing the backing of the Wall Sticker Shapes

Do you have trouble peeling the backing off our wall sticker shapes?  This comment was passed on to us and we have known this as we have applied numerous shapes in the past.  Some people don’t have problems and some just feel it is time-consuming.  So, to help you out, try this trick.  Use a piece a tape.  If you used tape to stick them to the wall before the actual application, to get a feel of how to space them, then you have a head start.  If not, just stick a tiny piece of tape, preferably painter’s tape that isn’t so sticky, either to the backing or the actual vinyl sticker.  If you pull back on the piece of tape, the backing should start to come away from the sticker.  If you stuck the tape to the vinyl sticker, carefully peel the tape off, after application is complete, being careful not to tear or stretch the sticker.  We continually are researching new and improved methods and you hear it first if we have a new and improved design to offer.

NEW Zebra Star Wall Decor

My daughter's room is now "COOL"!  According to her anyway.. nevermind that we can't photograph even close to the floor, as that is tornado zone!  Anyway, we applied our NEW Zebra Star Stickers in the girls room.  And they do look pretty cool, even to my eyes!

So check out the new Zebra Star Stickers on our Children's Wall Decor Page.  The Zebra Stars come on a sheet of 9 stars -
      3- 8.5"
      2 each in 6", 5", and 4" size

We applied these on a typical textured wall and it was a BREEZE - no tiny pieces to work with because the whole sticker is connected together.  Application time was a MAX of 30 minutes.  The Zebra Stars use the same application technique as wall sayings and quotes - rub, stick, peel.

To brighten up the Zebra Stars you can add the Variety Star Pack, as shown in the room photo.  The Variety Star Stickers are the simple Peel-n-Stick application - just like our Polka Dots. 

A Typical Day at Wall Decor Plus More

This post is a little out of the ordinary.  I am going to share a little about Wall Decor Plus More on a personal level.  We are a home-based business that makes wall stickers and decals.  A majority of our products are designed by us and all are produced and cut right here in our basement in rural South Dakota.  The "we" or "us" of Wall Decor Plus More...
     Kristi, which is me =), is the owner/operator.  I oversee all the operations and do pretty much all the design work.  I am a Mom of 5 kids - the oldest being 11 years and the youngest are 3 year old twins.  Married for 12 years and we live on a farm.  So every morning, after the e-mails are checked, you find the 2 oldest children and I feeding our 500 cattle as their Dad has already left for work.
     Danielle is an 8th grade student and a niece of mine.  She had back surgery to correct scoliosis last summer.  This job is perfect for her since she doesn't need to do alot of lifting or bending.  Danielle does most of the cutting of the wall shapes plus she helps with all the sayings and zebra items.
    Stephanie is a senior in high school.  Stephanie came to work for us when we took a week long vacation last year.  She is quite proficient on the computer so, when the orders are all taken care, Stephanie helps out with web design, photo editing, etc.

This photo shows a part of our "work square", as I call it.  We have a large unfinished cement basement.  A square is setup with our vinyl operation.  The rest of the basement is scattered with whatever the children are playing with at the moment.  And yes, those toys make their way into the square at times too. =)
